What a terrible Compnay. Placed an order based on their website saying they had it. Two days later, I received a blank invoice with no note. I ended up tracking the order to find out the cancelled it. No reason but the item was no longer available. I tried to contact them and got an auto response saying they were days behind on emails and didn’t know when they would respond. Terrible company that I will but from again.
The worst customer service. This place is a joke. Only buy here if you are ready to give them any and all info about your self more than once. Seems like a scam beware

I ordered a $10 "warm bluing" product on 05/14/21. It is now 05/29/21 and it's still not here. And it did not require HazMat shipping either. I've called about it twice and received surly responses. I've been told that I should have bought expedited shipping, that the delay is essentially my fault! Who, in their right mind, is going to spend an extra $7 for shipping on a $10 order? They used to get orders to me in a timely fashion. Not one apology from the calls I originated. Rude people, too! The only mistake I made was ordering from Brownells. Never again!
I will also add that I left three texts regarding this issue and finally got a call back from a nice person and finally got an apology. However, they still really can't pin down a date of arrival. I'm restoring a fine SxS and ordered this bluing product to coincide with the polishing of these barrels. I'm tired of having to continually remove oxidizing while waiting on this product. I finally gave up and ordered bluing from another company two days ago. I'd give odds that the new order will beat the delivery of my now weeks old Brownells' order.
They used to be friendly, efficient, and responsive. They've really slipped. Not the nicest people to deal with anymore. I know that mistakes happen, but it's in how you handle mistakes AND how you interact with your customers that can make or break a company. I really am sorry to say that they're broken. They need to realize that they are not the only game in town. They need to do some customer service training, but it would probably be best if they just got out of the business and let the professional companies handle things. They've received the last order from this customer.
I strongly suggest that you look ANYWHERE else for your gunsmithing needs.
Addendum: 06/01/21. Yep. Just as I suspected. My replacement bluing from another company arrived today. Less than one week from the date I ordered it... including the holiday! It's going on three weeks and my Brownells order is still not here! Harumph!

Never buy anything here! The things I purchased here are all wrong versions and no refunds will be given. Gosh, don't be fooled by them. They are also sold. I need to use it urgently. After waiting a long time, I told me to send lower quality mail. I can only buy from other more professional shops. The quality sent to me by solventtrapfuelfilter.com cannot be said to be particularly good, at least it is worth it.
The only place I can find my 308 ammo was Brownells. After reading some reviews, I took a chance and ordered two boxes. They arrived as promised. I ordered another two boxes and they also arrived as promised. My experience was great.
Terrible experience. Placed an order for handgun ammunition. Checked out and paid for the item and received an email confirmation. Then about 30 minutes later I receive a notification that the order was cancelled. When I placed the order, the item was in stock for over 10 minutes. How did my order get cancelled?? Their customer service representative told me they don't track their inventory in real-time. Poor excuse and something that they need to fix immediately. More and more pissed off customers having bad experience with this company and their terrible website service. Why advertise things you can't sell?

I placed an order yesterday morning and paid an extra $30 for next day delivery. They didn’t ship it out until today because of a “snowstorm” and now it won’t get here for another four days. I was never notified that they would not be able to honor next day shipping and they are refusing to refund me the $30 I paid for shipping. Do not recommend, never do business with this company
Horrific customer service! Placed an order on Sunday, didn’t expect it to ship since it was on a weekend. Tuesday logged in and notice the order was on hold still so I contacted customer support. Lady was very friendly and told me it would ship out Wednesday. Thursday noticed order still on hold, once again contacted customer support except this time they weren’t so friendly. Was pretty much was told it’ll ship when it ships. Well here it is Friday and guess what, order is still on hold. Contacted customer support again, got the same answer as before. Should have listened to the other reviews. Will no longer do business with Brownells. What a joke this company is!!
I ordered over $100 worth of gear from this place only to have FedEx not deliver it. Tried to contact FedEx but was told they would only work with Brownells when filing a claim. Contacted Brownells and was told to buy shipping insurance the next time. So I basically lost over $100. This company is worthless. Never again will order from this place.
Website is bad, place in order and received, wrong order, called customer service, refuse to return.Never will used this company Since 1939.
